Go Badgers . . . .

We all headed over to a Snow College football game a few weeks ago. It was so much fun! Snow will always have a special place in my heart because my dad grew up there. We spent a lot of our younger years there. My grandpa used to be the football coach and my dad played there. The football field is even named after my Grandpa! We love spending time with family!

My New Fave . . . . .

LOVE this picture. Personally, I think these are the most handsome men I have EVER seen! I think they look so much alike!

Fun in a BIG backyard . . . . . . .

Ava has had SO much fun in my parents backyard the last couple of months. She is going to be sorely disappointed when we move and she has a small backyard again. Right now she has a whole acre, dogs to play with, and a wonderful little friend next door. I'm seriously going to have to put her in therapy when we move again. Here are some pictures of the fun times we've had so far.

A visit from Grandma and Grandpa Cuff.

Ava helping Grandpa sweep up the grass. Do you think she'll love helping me with yardwork when she's older? I think not.

The kids watching cartoons on grandma's bed. For some reason it's way more fun in Grandma's big bed than anywhere else.

Getting ready for one of our many walks. Kai has finally decided he can relax and enjoy the scenery instead of crying. That has made our walks a lot more fun. :)

The Juab Homecoming Parade. What I realized watching it this year is that it's way more fun to be in it than watching it and it's the shortest parade ever.

Fun with Robert. This girl LOVES going on rides with her uncle. It always makes me a little nervous, but what do you do?

My mom and dad with their grandkids. Well, Ava, Carson, and Kalel. What beautiful children they are.

Fresh Peas from the garden. I could not get Ava to quit eating them! You would have thought they were popsicles.

Ava gardening with Grandma. Why didn't I think it was cool when I had to weed my parents yard?

This is Ava's friend Abby. They spend a lot of time together and have so much fun. They love to play with their dogs and it's hilarious because Abby has a cute little puppy named Maddie and Ava plays with a big Golden Retriever named Oodie. It is too cute.

What a Big Girl!

So my baby girl isn't a baby anymore. Ya, I know she hasn't been a baby for a while but now she's doing real big girl things. Without me there. It's exciting and a little weird for me. When Ava was a few months old my little sister said to me, "You and Ava are so funny. It's like you have a little buddy with you all the time." She was right. She's always been my little buddy. Well, in the past 2 weeks she has started Preschool, Tumbling, and Dancing. Guess what? Moms aren't supposed to go to these things. It's a good thing they don't have a little window I can look through to see her in Preschool or else I'd stand there and watch her for 2 hours. Let's be honest, Kai would get really bored, and possibly hungry. At her dance class parents are only allowed to watch their kids during the first class of the month. I understand why because I would be waving at Ava the entire time with a big cheesy grin on my face because I'm so proud. I'd probably have to kiss her owies and apply Dora bandaids periodically. That dance teacher is smart to only allow us there once a month. On that same note, why does Ava listen to her dance teacher better than she listens to me, her mother? I'm just saying. :) Back to my original thoughts. Ava has been LOVING all of her new activities and as weird as it was at first, I have been loving a little break. Well, as much of a break as you can get when you have a 4 month old with you as your "new" little buddy. I'll quit rambling, but here are some pictures of all of Ava's new adventures:

The Big Day!

Ava and her friend Reagan:

Ava with her teacher, Mrs. Flower (actually Mrs. Farr). She has another teacher named Miss Tootie (actually Miss Trudi).

Dancing. Where did she learn to pose and where does all of her drama come from? Probably Randy. :)

Tumbling . . .

Today on the way home from dancing Ava said, "Mom, what is my dance teacher's name?" I told her it was Lisa. She thought about it for a minute and then said, "I have lots of new teachers Mom. I think I'll just call her Dance Teacher." Good thinking.

Favorite Pictures . . . .

These are some of my favorite pictures of the last couple of weeks . . .

Probably my favorite pic for a while. I LOVE my little sis Jessica and so do my kids. Especially Ava. She is gorgeous, my kids are darn cute, and that's why this picture is top notch in my book! :)

Ava and Kai in the tub. Kai is starting to really outgrow his baby tub so I decided it was time to have some brother-sister tubby time. Kai adores the tub, but lately Ava hasn't been loving it. It's not because she actually doesn't like bathing. It's more because it takes away time from all of the other important things she's doing. Plus, she knows that if she's getting in the tub, bedtime isn't too far away. As soon as I mention that Kai is getting in with her though, she is all about the tub! Here's to hoping they'll always get along this great.

This was a game that Ava decided to play with Kai. My mom has a lot of wood floors and Ava figured out how slippery they are if you're on a blanket. This day was devoted to me dragging the blanket around on the floor with the kids on it. Ava had so much fun and insisted on Kai playing the game too. He's still too young for most games, but apparently old enough to be drug around the kitchen.

Baby Flip Flops. 'Nuff said.

LOVE LOVE these two darlings. This is pretty typical of every day for Ava. Baseball hat? Check. Princess Dress? Check. Baby Brother? Check.
