Disney Princess On Ice . . . . .

So, yes, there is a recurring theme of Princesses on this blog. I do have a 3 year old, self-proclaimed princess though, so what do you do? My mom and dad surprised Ava with tickets to Disney Princess on Ice and we had a blast. Me, my mom, Ava, Aunt Alecia, and Aunt Jessica all went. It was a blast. Ava loved everything except for the scary parts with the villains. It was Disney and it was fun, but my sisters and I managed to find a few things to make fun of. At the end of the show, Gaston from Beauty and the Beast laughed an evil laugh for a good twenty minutes. Scary. Also, a lot of the princes were "slightly" feminine and we had a hard time taking them seriously. Lastly, when your figure skating watching consists of ONLY the Olympics, it's easy to be disappointed when you see a show that doesn't consist of the best in the world. BUT, regardless of all our nit-picking and jokes, it was a good show and we all had a good time. Especially Ava, which is ultimately what this night was all about. :)

This was Ava the entire first half. She didn't really smile at all because she was nervous about the villains. She didn't take her eye off the show at all though!

Ava and Jessica waving to Belle at the end of the show. Ava LOVED this part. Belle wasn't in her yellow dress (or "Belle's" dress, in Ava's words) until the last part of the show. Thank goodness she wore it at the end or Ava would have been disappointed.
